Sifting through Twitter often warrants gold. This week, shining at the end of the rainbow was #BigGuyTwitter, created by Mike Byrd, who happens to be 6’5 and 275 lbs. The tag celebrates men who could easily shop at Big & Tall stores and based on it’s reaction, its a hit.
Hundreds of men have proudly tagged themselves for the world to relish in their heftiness. Some are counting this phenomenon as a vehicle of body positivity for men. Men who may have been struggling with being confident because of their size now have an outlet to converse and connect with others. The rest of us are thankful that the exchange is taking place of Twitter — new Baes are surfacing and we will be sharing the wealth with you through our brother brand Hey Bae Collection.
We stepped into the jungle and pinpointed 8 of the hottest participants of #BigGuyTwitter. You’re welcome.
